Using Adsense To Make Your Web Site Profitable!
by Craig Cawthorne
The one question that all internet marketers ask themselves is, how do I maximize the money making power of my web site?
Here's one answer that just might surprise you. By earning just a few dollars per click from displaying Adsense ads on your web site you can easily maximize its money making power. Many marketers are now realizing that good money can made from this incredible source of revenue.
Try this simple little mathematical computation. Let's just say, that you have a web site of 30 pages. Let's also say, that you are able to average $0.50 a day from clicks on the ads on each page. Multiply that $0.50 average times the number of pages on your website and you get a summation of your earnings. In this case it comes to $15.00 a day or $450 a month in residual income with little effort your part. Now say that you have 20 such sites averaging the same amount of income. That now gives you a nice tidy sum of $9000 a month. Not bad.
Google Adsense is an incredible opportunity for internet marketers to place relevant text-based ads on their web pages and earn substantial income in the process. The Google ads will be related to what visitors are searching for. Placing these ads in the context of relevant web page content is really a great way to enhance your income.
Exactly how much money you will earn from Adsense will greatly depend on how much the advertisers are willing to pay. It will also depend which keywords are chosen. If the keywords you chose are in high demand, you can receive more money per click. On the other hand, if your keywords are of low demand you may earn only a few pennies per click.
Here is a list of things you can do to start making profits using Adsense on your web sites?
1. Get a Google Adsense account. Its easy and shouldn't take long to complete the sign up process.
2. Once your web site is accepted by Google, you will receive a clip code to place in your web pages. You are allowed to insert this code on as many pages or web sites as you desire. The ads will start appearing shortly after that.
3. As I previously stated you will earn anywhere from a just few pennies to several dollars per click when visitors began clicking on ads displayed on your various web pages. Please do not try to earn revenue by repetitively clicking on your own ads. This is called click fraud and should never be done. It will result in your Adsense account being terminated. The money you have earned may very well be lost because of this.
4. View your statistics and earnings by logging into your Adsense account. You can also purchase some wonderful tools that will provide you much better statistics than Google. These statistics can help you improve web page ad placement and increase your income.
5. Optimize your ad placement. Once your pages are up and working, you may still want to adjust the placement of your Adsense ads. You can always pattern your web site after successful web sites that are earning more money. Its not unusual for web site owners to tinker with things after their site starts to earn money. They will do this to increase the revenue they are currently getting. This however, usually takes time combined with trial and error to attain the results desired.
What's needed to increase your Google Adsense earnings?
First, you will need to select a topic for each page. You should try to write your content for each page with only a few targeted keyword phrases. This will allow Google to serve ads to your page that are more relevant, which will then result in higher click through rate for you.
Make your ads look like they are a part of your web page. They should not stick out like a sore thumb. You want your visitor to spot your ads but and allow your content to give them a reason to click. Your content should appear to be the reason for the page and not the ad. You can and should pick colors for your ads that harmonize with the colors of your web page.
Make sure that you test your ad placement. Try various formats until you find what works best for your web pages. Remember, your statistics can greatly help you with determining what works best.
Increase the number of content based pages you have on your web site. Your should widen the theme of your web site. Do this by creating pages that focus on keyword phrases you selected during your keyword research. By doing this, you will be optimizing your web pages for the search engines. This will not only attract more traffic but also make it more targeted for the ads you have displayed.
Using these few tips should greatly increase the revenue you receive from Adsense and allow you to maximize the income generated by your web site.

Earning Easy Instant Money With Google Adsense
by Daniel Alan
One of the easiest ways to start making money online is by joining the Adsense program by Google. Before going into how it works let me explain to you the rationale behind the Adsense program.
The Adsense program was built so that Advertisers can get their ads displayed on sites that are related to their product. This is done by the Adsense program itself, it determines the main keywords of a particular site and it displays ads that are relevant to that site. This not only benefits the website owner who would not only have a properly themed website coupled with relevant ads but also the Advertiser who wants their ads shown to the right visitors. For example, Car Loans ads would probably do well and receive more clicks in a car enthusiast website rather than a site with Hobbies and Crafts. This is called contextual advertising and is one of the more efficient ways by which Advertisers can get their product out there for everyone to see.
The question now is, how do you make money from Adsense? Well the first requirement in order to earn is to have a valid address by which you can receive the checks and the second one is to have a website which receives a respectable amount of traffic. Once you have all of those then you're ready to start!
Assuming that you have the two requirements all you really have to do now is to cleverly place the ads so that they blend in with your site. The greatest mistake that most people do is to make ads stand out. Site visitors nowadays have a trained eye to spot advertisements and it usually turns them away. In order to earn money you have to make them click on your ads! The way you do that is by blending those ads with your site. Not only would the ads look like a part of your content but it they will also be relevant to your site.
Once you clear out one month and you have a balance worth more than $100, Adsense sends a check to your address and you get instant money.
For some people this seems near impossible, but trust me, it is very possible and a huge amount of people are already doing this to pull in huge profits daily. You can do it too. Or you can go back to whatever it is that you were doing before.
The choice is all yours.

7 Top Internet Marketing Techniques that Always Work
by Jinger Jarrett
Although trends in internet marketing come and go, there's always certain internet marketing techniques that will work. What's key is applying these techniques consistently to your business.
You don't have to be a writing genius, or even an expert internet marketer to make these techniques work. Most of the time, if you're willing to read and follow instructions, you can learn how to do these techniques.
You can use these techniques regardless of what you are marketing whether it's your own products or sevices, MLM, or affiliate programs. If you're a writer, even better because the internet is an ideal place for writers.
1. Search engine optimization
The real secret to search engine optimization is finding the right keywords. Although two word keywords are popular, they may or may not help searchers find what they are looking for. Use less competitive three to four word keyword phrases to optimize.
Use a search engine optimization suite like Web CEO, which is free, to help you optimize your site. It offers a quick start guide that will help you get started in less than an hour. Since most website owners don't bother optimizing their sites, you'll easily get higher rankings simply by optimizing your site.
2. Article Writing
Writing articles brands you as an expert, helps you build valuable backlinks, and uses pull marketing instead of push marketing.
Pull marketing is more effective because you are drawing visitors to you. Visitors are looking for you because you offer something of value up front.
Tease the reader with an offer of additional information. Use a list so you can recycle your traffic.
Since the internet is largely a content driven medium, you can easily find success by writing articles. However, if the thought of writing articles makes you crazy, try writing lists, or a How To. A How To is easy because you show others how to do something. Just write down the steps.
3. Press Release Writing
Write an effective press release, and you can get traffic fast. Press releases are far more effective than ads because they are seen as news.
Although print readers expect advertising mixed in with content, online readers tend to avoid it if possible.
Just make sure that what you're writing about is newsworthy. Include the how, what, when, where, and why, just like a news story. Stress information about your topic instead of your product. Don't forget to include your product though. Press releases need to be focused.
4. Forum Posting
If the thought of writing articles or press releases still makes you nervous, then try posting on forums first.
You can ask, as well as answer questions and build trust and credibility with other forum members. Just remember not to advertise your products or services. Reserve that for your signature file and make sure you follow forum guidelines.
This can be a time consuming process, so I don't recommend making this your primary method of promoting your business.
5. Joint Ventures
Joint ventures work best if you own your own product. You will want to create an irresistable offer for your joint venture partners, and you want to make it easy for your joint venture partners to become involved.
When choosing joint venture partners, you'll want to do some research. Contact each website owner personally with your offer. Stress the benefits of doing business with you. Make your offer. Show the site owner the benefits of doing a joint venture with you and don't forget to give your partner a copy of your product, as well as special commission rate.
Although setting up your first joint venture can be time consuming, once you have a network of partners in place, it can become very lucrative without a lot of work. Also, joint ventures are the fastest way to earn money from your new venture.
6. Affiliate Programs
To some extent, starting your own affiliate program goes hand in hand with joint ventures. If you plan to create joint ventures, you will save yourself a lot of time and expense by setting up your affiliate program first. You can easily do this by using and affiliate program script, readily available for free in script directories.
The secret to a successful affiliate program is to create plenty of resources for your affiliates, as well as offer them generous commissions and support.
7. Free Reports
A free report is longer than an article but shorter than a book or ebook. You can write a short, usually five to 10 page report in a couple of hours.
The secret to a good short report is the same as for articles. Give your readers a taste, and then refer them to the product or service you are marketing.
Although you can find plenty of free ebook compiliers on the internet, it's better if you offer your report in PDF so that anyone can download it and read it. Tools like Open Office will allow you to convert your report to PDF, and you can even make the links clickable.
Once you've written your report, you can use one of the methods above to advertise it, or you can submit it to ebook directories.
If all of these internet marketing techniques seem too complicated, then your best bet is to try linking. Linking works best if you own your own website because many website owners will want a reciprocal link. You can also post comments to blogs, as well as submit to directories. Just remember to avoid me too comments. Make your comments intriguing so that others will want to visit your site.
There are plenty of other ways to market your business effectively. However, it can easily become expensive. These techniques allow you to slash your marketing budget to zero, and they're very effective.

Crazy AdSense Experiment: $10,000/Month
by Martin Chandra
Have you ever noticed an ad on Google that says "We have found top 4 sites for you" or "More information about ..."? These web sites usually contain nothing but plenty of Google AdSense ads and search results stolen from other search engines.
They provide ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to the users of Google, however they are still alive. Why there are so many good companies that can't afford Google AdWords advertising while these crappy web sites buy the most expensive keywords?
Moreover, these web sites are really annoying if you try to find something useful right now. Did you know that 80%(!) of ads on insurance are MFA (Made for AdSense)? Recently we collected the database of over 40,000,000 search phrases. From 30% to 90%(!) of ads on Google for the top 1,000 most expensive keywords are MFA.
We hope that this experiment will help Google to open eyes on MFA problem. Fighting this kind of web sites will not only help us to find information we need faster. It will reduce the cost of advertising for ethical companies.
Don't forget that Google AdWords ad ranking is based on auction system. Less advertisers = reduced click price = happy advertisers = less profit for Google. Maybe it's the main reason why we still see these junk web sites? In any way let's come closer to the experiment.
Let the number of MFA web sites grow, let Google be infected until it will train its immune system. Here is a "Developing Made for AdSense Web Sites for Dummies" tutorial.
It took us 65 minutes to do it (we recorded each step with a stop-watch).
1. Find an expensive and popular keyword. We used TheDowser Niche Database. It took us 1 minute.
2. Register a junk domain like "top4websites.com" or "insurancetop4.com". We haven't ordered any domain specifically for this purpose, but used one of our experimental domains (totally unrelated to the main theme of MFA web site).
3. Extract search results from Google or any other search engine. It took us 5 minutes.
4. Create HTML page with these search results. It took us 7 minutes.
5. Insert Google AdSense code in the way that search results aren't visible without scrolling. It took us 10 minutes.
6. Upload html file to your web site. It took us 2 minutes.
7. Create a new Google AdWords campaign for this keyword by copying any other MFA campaign. It took us 10 minutes.
8. Wait for 15 minutes until you will see first clicks from Google AdWords, wait for another 15 minutes until you will see new clicks on Google AdSense.
We started to earn $1/day after a single hour of work. $1/day is $33/month, spend 333 days to earn $10,000/month. It's that easy.
This tutorial will definitely increase the number of MFA web sites as well as our previous research on Digg.com attention grabbing words increased the number of stories with "amazing", "digg", "revealed" words. When the number of MFA web sites will reach the critical mass, Google will turn on its immune system.
We all hope that MFA web sites will die soon. Let's return to the good old days.

How to Start Your First AdSense Website
by Colin Tsui
Starting an AdSense website is relatively easy. However, there are plenty of things that may go wrong, especially if you're doing it for the first time. For one, most AdSense businesses crash down before they can really take off. The number of impressions and low click-through rate often changes what seemed to be an excellent business idea into nothing - unless you call earning $1 a day a profitable business venture.
What is AdSense?
90% of problems with AdSense businesses is caused by the fact that AdSense businessmen-to-be don't know much about what AdSense is and how it really works. While you definitely don't have to know all the technical details, it is an imperative that you understand all the basics.
AdSense is an advertising program run by Google. Webmasters who decide to take part in it add a special Java script to their websites that allows AdSense to display ads on the webpage it is installed in. The ads come from advertisers who have subscribed to the AdWords program and placed there their own ads. Then AdSense program places them at the AdSense websites that seem to be the most appropriate.
The advertisers pay either per each click on their ad or per thousand impressions (thousand people who have opened your website with the ad on it). A fraction of the price they pay goes to you - the website owner. Google acts only as an intermediary and editor, it is neither the source nor the real provider of any ads.
How Google knows what adverts to display on your site? Everything begins within the AdWords program. When advertisers create their ads, they also choose key phrases that are relevant to their ads. For example, if one creates an advert of a snowboarding website, he will probably choose such key phrases as "snowboard", "snowboarding", "snowboard styles", "snowboard course" etc. When a website is signed to the AdSense program, a special robot (=internet program) called Metabot "reads" your website in search for keywords (=words used in the content). Then it sends a signal to AdSense to send you the adverts that are triggered by the key phrases you have used in your website.
Starting an AdSense website
Build a site: while you can put AdSense ads on virtually any website, in 99% of cases you won't make any real money out of it. In order to start a real AdSense website that will become a steady income stream, you have to remember about:
*popularity - check what people look for on the Internet and build your site around one of the most popular topics. Use Wordtracker or Nichebot and take a look at the most often searched keywords to get some ideas.
*relevant content - AdSense is not an artificial intelligence and certainly not a mind reader. You have to put a lot of content that speaks about the website's topic AND USE THE KEY PHRASES! Otherwise you risk that some ads may miss your website and you get others that are irrelevant to your website. This may greatly decrease the click-through ratio. A tip: do not use the content you can find on the Internet, even if it is marked "public domain" - Google loves fresh unpublished articles.
*proper ad placement - most people who browse the website look at the upper left corner of screen first, then at the mid-upper part and lower left and only lastly at the lower right part of screen. Make sure that you can place your ads where people look first - this increases the chance they click on them.
Registration process: registration process is very simple and, what's even more important, free. Go to www.google.com/adsense and complete the registration form. Just remember that you have to add the provided script to your website before you get any ads displayed!
Get the traffic: now, when you have a decent website and relevant ads all you need is people who will visit your site and click on the ads. If your website attracts 1000 visitors a day, you can count on it to bring you a healthy profit. There are dozens of methods you can use. Among the most popular are: adding links to web directories, writing articles to article directories and getting links from other, relevant sites. It is probably the most difficult part of all AdSense business, broad enough to be discussed in another article.
Warning: angry Google = no income
During all the process there is one thing that you have to remember about: don't do anything that is prohibited or unadvised by Google. First, most of such practices won't give you any real profit. Second, if you make Google angry, they will simply ban your site from from their search engine, wasting all the hard work you've made and forcing you to start everything all over again. Trespassing Google regulations - clicking on your own ads or installing any robots who can do that for you - will always be swiftly punished. No courts, no lawsuits, no nothing - your website will be immediately and irreversibly banned, people cease to visit it and your income drops to zero in a matter of days. A few dollars more are just not worth wasting months of your work.

Speeding- The Law In Scotland
by Graham Walker
The flash of the camera is often the first indication that criminal proceedings are to be contemplated by the Procurator Fiscal (Similar to the CPP). That is probably when the worry sets in.
There is, however, no need to worry if no formal notice, termed a Notice of Intended Prosecution is received within 14 days. (Exceptions being where it is a company car or a hire car)
In the event that the Procurator Fiscal s office seek to simply initiate proceedings in the absence of any NIP (Notice of Intended Prosecution) then objection should be taken at the first calling of the case. A lawyer would be able to advice you on how to take a proper objection but you must explain to the lawyer when the incident occurred and that you did not receive the NIP. If you didnt spot the flash, then you will be none the wiser.
The NIP can be issued verbally by Police Officers if you have the misfortune of being stopped by the Police at the time. In cases were injury or damage to property has occurred then the requirement does not apply.
Make no comment when questioned by police, beyond formal details, for example name and address. In road traffic cases, the accused person, if required under Section 172 of the Road Traffic Act 1988, is obliged to give information within his knowledge about the identity of a driver of the vehicle involved in any such incidents.
Failure to provide such information constitutes a separate offence. Many people are aware of the recent case dealt with at the European Court of Human Rights regarding the right of silence debate in this area but as yet it a judgement has not been issued to guide the judiciary in this country.
After the matter has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal then proceedings are likely to be initiated by way of Summary complaint. The validity of a complaint depends upon a number of factors. Typographical errors can generally be disregarded, however more fundamental errors can bring the case to an end before it has even got off the ground. A fundamental nullity can not be amended and will vitiate proceedings. Complex issues such as jurisdiction, time bar and competency all require to be investigated.
Road traffic cases are subject to strict time limits and, in some cases, even if proceedings are initiated within the requisite time period, the complaint can still be challenged on the basis of "undue delay" which can be as little as a matter of days. It must be stressed these preliminary matters require to be stated at the first calling of the case and we would therefore advise that legal advice is sought at the earliest opportunity.
The dramatic rise in the speeding prosecutions and the increasing number of cameras and traps peppered around the country are blatantly apparent to every motorist. It is however, important to realise that these prosecutions are open to challenge from a number of angles. The Police employ a variety of speed detection devices which generally work on the premise of Newtons Law (V = D/T).
Mistakes can be made at the most basic level: In one of our recent cases, it became apparent the distance allegedly travelled had been underestimated by approximately one third, thus producing an enhanced speed measurement. The Crown deserted the case on the basis of the evidence presented by us in discussion with them. No need for the expense of a trial!
More complex issues can arise in terms of certification and calibration of speed measurement devices. For example, a number of modern devices operate with reference to the measured half mile it is from that distance the device is calibrated and performs its functions. The Crown require to prove the measured half mile has been measured and is indeed a half mile. Failure to prove this essential fact is fatal to the prosecution case.
There are, of course, numerous other charges that can be brought under road traffic legislation ranging from dangerous driving and drink driving to minor construction and use infringements.
The key to defending road traffic cases is to explore all possible avenues of investigation. The complex nature of statutory road traffic charges makes it imperative to have a full and comprehensive understanding of the law.
If all seems to be lost, then other factors can come into place. The legislation permits further opportunities for a motorist, after conviction, to retain his licence. If what the court terms as "Special Reasons" apply to the circumstances of the offence, the Court can refrain from disqualification or endorsement. Furthermore if the Court finds that "Exceptional Hardship" would ensue if the motorist were to loose his licence then, again, the Court will refrain from disqualifying.
It must be stressed that these are complex areas of the law and legal advice should be sought at the earliest juncture.

Secrets to Quadrupling Your Google Adsense Profits
by Martin Chandra
I've been reading a few forums and blogs about Google Adsense tips lately, and thought it would be helpful to consolidate as many as possible in one place without the comments. I've also thrown in a few tips of my own. We start out with some of the basic general stuff and move to the more specific topics later on.
When you're deciding to become a website publisher you will fall into one of two broad categories:
* Publish 100 websites that each earn $1 a day profit
* Publish 1 website that earns $100 a day profit
The reality of it is, most people end up somewhere in between. Having 100 websites leaves you with maintenance, management and content issues. Having one website leaves you open to all sort of fluctuations (search engines algorithm's, market trends, etc). You can adapt your plan on the way, but you'll have an easier time if you start out going in the direction of where you want to end up.
You can build your website around general topics or niche ones. Generally speaking niche websites work better with adsense. First off the ad targeting is much better. Secondly as you have a narrow focus your writing naturally becomes more expert in nature. Hopefully this makes you more authority in your field.
Once you've gotten the hang of how Adsense works on a website, you are going to want to dabble in some high paying keywords, you may even be tempted to buy a high paying keyword list. This does come with some dangers. First off the level of fraud is much higher on the big money terms. Secondly there is a distortion of the supply and demand relationship for these terms. Everyone wants ads on their website that make $35 or more a click, however the number of advertisers who are willing to pay that much is pretty limited. Additionally the competition for that traffic is going to be stiff. So, don't try to run with the big dogs if you can't keep up. If you have to ask if you're a big dog, then chances are, you're not.
When you're building a new site don't put adsense on it until it's finished. If you put up a website with "lorem ipsum" dummy or placeholder text, your adsense ads will almost certainly be off topic. This is often true for new files on existing websites, especially if the topic is new or different. It may take days or weeks for google's media bot to come back to your page and get the ads properly targeted.
I like to build my sites using include files. I put the header, footer and navigation in common files. It makes it much easier to maintain and manage. I also like to put my adsense code in include files. If I want/need to change my adsense code, it's only one file I have to work with. I also use programming to turn the adsense on or off. I can change one global variable to true or false and my adsense ads will appear or disappear.
Once you know you are going to put adsense on your website you're going to have to consider where to put it. If this is new site it's easier, if it's an existing site it's more difficult. While there are some people who will be able to do it, in most cases I'd say if you just slap the adsense code in, you'll end up with a frankensite monster. While every website is different, Google has published some heat maps showing the optimal locations. No surprise that the best spots are middle of the page and left hand side. Now I've done really well by placing it on the right, but you should know why you're doing it that way before hand, and be prepared to change it if it doesn't work out.
From the sites that I run, I do really well with the 336 rectangle and 160 skyscraper. My next best performing ad size is the 728 leaderboard, I don't really use the 300 inline rectangle too often. So really it depends on how well you integrate these into your site. Placement can have a dramatic effect on performance.
728 leaderboard works very well if it is just above the end of the "above the fold" area on what would be considered your viewers average resolution/browser window size if there are few other enticing links above the fold. Makes for an interesting layout but if you're building a site for AdSense it may be worth it. We consistently receive very high CTRs from doing this.
Another 'trick' that can increase your CTR is by blending your adsense into your body copy. For example if your body copy is black, remove the adsense border and make the title, text, and URL black. Try changing all of your page hyperlinks to a high contrast color (like dark red or a bold blue) then change the adsense title to the same color.
Another way to increase ad revenue is to use multiple ad units. According to Google's TOS you are allowed to post up to three ad units per page. Similar to standard search results the highest paying ad units will be served first and the lowest being served last. If there is enough of an ad inventory, place all three ad units. However you should pay attention to the payouts. Current assumption is you get 60% of the revenue (on a $0.05 click you get $0.03). So if a click from the third ad unit is only paying between 3 to 5 cents you may want to omit it from your page. This is one are where giving your ad units channels does have value. If one ad unit is getting a higher percentage of click throughs you'll want to make sure the highest paying ads are being served there.
Try to build sites that allow you to quickly try any and all of those locations outlined in the heatmap guide or at least allow you a wide degree of freedom to easily change ad/content locations.

Adsense the Profitable Way
by David Dutch
Do not be misled though by false prophets promising adsense secrets... these people are not building like your average website builder does.
They have systems in place that create sites for them... people who build sites for them... they have outsourced and automated many of the tedious tasks such as posting to blogs and searching for keywords.
In a nutshell, you want to make sure the page you create offers great value to people interested in the topic you have researched, ideally high demand with low supply.
When you provide excellent information on a specific topic, your visitors will benefit and will be more likely to click through to your relevant Google Adsense Adverts.
Keep your sites easy to navigate and forget the fancy graphics that distract your visitors attention. Unless you are just building AdSense sites for the fun of it and not as a serious business... the purpose of having the site is to have people click on one of the ads.
Keep the site layout simple... dump the scrolling banners, dancing chickens and coloured scroll bars... they are distractions.
Here are 4 Required Steps you can implement today to copy their success and start making money.
1) Starting today... treat your AdSense business like it is a REAL business and track what you do.
Begin tracking what you are doing that works... as well as what you are doing that does not work. This will keep you from making the same mistakes over and over, and you can repeat the steps that have worked in the past. As simple as this step seems... most people do not know the reason for their success or failure.
2) Utilize the latest tools and software available to find good adsense keywords.
The Super AdSense earners are not any smarter than your average person. I know many people think they are... but for the most part, they are regular non techie people.
They are smarter in one respect though... they use the latest tools available to them to automate most of the tasks involved when researching and creating sites. They use the latest adsense keyword, site creation and search engine optimization tools available. The tools they use are their adsense secret weapons.
3) Quit chasing the High Paying keywords.
You cannot compete with the search engine experts who create sites for the $50 payout keywords. You may get lucky every now and then... but in the long run, you are better off building sites for the low to mid range payout keywords. The competition is less, and your chance of success is much higher over the long term.
4) Start with a broad niche and break it down.
Choose a broad subject as your main theme (lets use history of Jaguar cars as an example). From there... break it down into as many sub niches as possible.
You could build sub niches/sites like XK120 type from 1948 to 1954, XK 120 Roadster, XK120 Fixed Head Coupe, etc, etc. You could literally build hundreds of sites around one major theme and stay totally focus
It's to your financial advantage to put the Adsense coding near the top of your page on the right. Make sure there is enough "breathing room" -- i.e. white space around the ads -- so that they will easily attract your visitors.
Plus, Google has some of the smartest engineers around, and they are very good at detecting this kind of fraud. And really, for an extra $1, is it worth getting kicked out of a money-maker like AdSense? I think not.
Place your adsense advertising instrategic places, for example place adsense links at the top just under your header and use blocks not skyscraper ads (these look like google ads and are invrably ignored by the viewer).
Adsense is still a very worthwhile business to get your Internet marketing business off the ground. But it must be treated as a real business and care must be taken when selecting the theme of your site to ensure there is enough demand to create a market of visitors.
If you build a site just for Adsense it will soon meet with the wrath of the search engines and all your work will be for nothing. Build good sites of quality content and the adsense ads will reflect the quality of your site. You will attract traffic and because your content is good they will be more than willing to click on your Adsense ads.
This is not short term millionaire fodder, you have to be in it for the long term, but by building quality sites your traffic and earnings will start small but will grow over the months and years with very little further intervention on your part.

Things to Consider when Buying Website Ads
by Jason Kamara
While banner ads were the internet advertising craze of the 1990's, small, discreet text link ads are the preferred choice among marketers and webmasters alike. Banner ads were popular because they stood out and they received high click-through rates from people viewing them.
But now, website visitors are more informed, and have been conditioned to ignore these kinds of obvious advertising. Unless you have a company with high brand-name recognition and deep pockets, you need to spend your marketing dollars in a way that translates into more visitors and greater sales.
If you are a website owner looking to increase traffic to your site, you can choose from many forms of advertising. You can list your program with an affiliate market place such as Commission Junction or ShareBucks. You can bid on keywords using Google's Adwords program or Yahoo's Content Match which are guaranteed to bring a flood of new visitors to your doorstep. You can also purchase banner ads on a CPM basis from individual websites that serve your target demographic.
Many of these programs succeed in bringing you both the quantity and quality of new visitors you desire. However, the cost of each program is significant. Even, a simple 468x60 banner on the homepage of a popular website could cost hundreds or thousands of dollars a month. With that in mind, let's consider a cheaper, equally effective, search engine-friendly form of website promotion - static text links.
Static text links are cropping up everywhere across the net. You can find them in search results, emails, forums, articles, and even personal blogs. They have the advantage of being small and unobtrusive. They don't scream out "I'm an ad - Please click me!" They often receive higher click-through rates than the massive skyscraper ads appearing right next to them. They are also much cheaper than picture and video ads.
Buying link-only ads or text links with small descriptions can be a cost-effective way of promoting your site. You can buy links from a market place, which gives you more selection (at a slightly higher price). Or you can buy links directly from your target advertiser. Links can be bought for as little as $5 a month. You often have the choice of buying a link on a single page or buying site-wide links.
An added advantage to static text link advertising is the increase in one-way links to your site that are indexed by the search engines. Buying a few well-placed ads on a web page with a high Google PageRank, can increase your website PageRank substantially, and within just a few months. Of course, you will also get some human visitors who will follow those links to your website.
It is never best to put all your eggs in one basket and rely solely on one form of advertising. But if your budget is small, text link advertising should be an integral part of your marketing campaign.
You can also increase your search engine rankings and your traffic through free advertising. You can post and answer threads in a few forums that allow you to include a link to your website. There are many such forums that are indexed by the search engine spiders. Many site owners write articles and submit them to article directories with a few links to their websites in the "About the Author" resource box. This is an excellent way to position yourself as an authority in your field while bringing in targeted visitors to your site.
In all, there are many different ways to promote your website online. If you have the money, you can buy quality traffic and increase your search engine positioning quickly. If you are not working with a large marketing budget, cheap paid text links and free links posted in forums and article directories will get you nice results over a longer time span.

Step 1 - Keyword Research.
The very first step is to research few high demand low competition keywords in your niche. You can research high demand keywords by visiting inventory.overture.com
To check out competition of your keywords visit www.google.com and search for your niche keyword. The number of websites that gets displayed for the keyword is your competition.

Once you have a list of few keywords you want to target, pick up the first keyword and get started.

Adsense And The Surfer
by Ryan Smith
AdSense is an easy program to grasp: it's a great form of an advertising bringing a lot of benefits to every person in the chain. And of course, seeing the results it can have on a business (and a publisher) people encourage this form of publicity.
For the browsing audience this is probably the most straightforward model available, because they can be directed to a lot of new sites they wouldn't have otherwise found. Needless to say, if you have an AdSense banner on your site, and a large number of visitors you'll know it offers a great financial benefit.
But why does it work for the people clicking the links, as opposed to a standard approach?
It is aided by today's society. With bloggers and information based articles on the internet, people may be encouraged to complete purchases, which adsense can provide links to relevant suppliers whilst also benefiting the publisher.
And the good thing about this is that it works for site visitors as well. In fact Google realized that by pleasing the people who are looking for something, and directing them to what they need faster, everybody wins.
It is because of this that a lot of websites promote through AdSense in both content and search. They do it because they ultimately learned that it works for everyone.
If we look in the past, we can realize that this kind of publicity has a great impact over the people, especially in the last few years. When we enter on a web site and we see a graphical banner, our first idea is to cancel it out of our mind, because it's of no concern to us.
That's why traditional banner advertising is wrong. It's precisely because people are becoming savvy that they don't look at a flashy banner because they think they'll be losing their time with it.
We've gotten accustomed to banners that don't interest us. And we're accustomed to them having nice graphics. So we naturally associate the two things and think that a banner with nice graphics has nothing to tell us.
But we might look at a text-ad because we've grown accustomed to them being targeted at what we're looking for. Basically these advertisements have marketed themselves into being looked at by any visitor.
This is a typical "no fluff, just stuff" situation. And in the end it means the visitors will see what they're interested in, not some random cool graphics you throw at them.
As stated above, site visitors adopt this advertising mechanism, because it is efficient in leading them to pages of interest and can offer ton of things they really want to see. Someone coming across an article on adsense was probably looking for shoes or doing research on shoes when they came across the article.
And most importantly for everyone, including visitors, this scheme can only improve as the process gets further refined to make ads more relevant to what you're looking for, not just a couple of keywords on a site.
Nowadays, it is because of AdSense that Internet surfers are looking after more interesting related things from banners, and the companies behind the site (Google and the advertiser) need to have better ideas to display, as expectations have increased a great deal.
So could "Do no evil" actually work in today's cut throat competitive marketplace? Well, as you can see it can and it does. And you, as a visitor are the one who gets to enjoy this the most. Advertising becomes less of a burden and more of a benefit, and is still a benefit you can choose to ignore.
Less obtrusive banners; banners that you're actually likely to be interested in and click means you'll be less annoyed by surfing the web and feel like you as a visitor being offered a relevant service.
Although some may feel reluctant to read articles that are there purely to compel consumers, undoubtedly without this consideration they are useful. Ultimately the adverts mean that you don't have to go back to your homepage every time you are compelled to complete a purchase.

Injury Lawyers are Crucial to Fair Compensation
by Ben Franklin
What is an injury lawyer? I don't know if you've heard that term before, but I'll get right down to explaining it: an injury lawyer is the one person who can help you get compensated for the injuries and material losses you suffered in an accident which wasn't your fault.
It can be any type of accident, it doesn't matter. But there are some types of accident which have specialized solicitors. And this is because they happen most often and people wish to claim compensation. These types of accident are the road accident, the work accident and the holiday accident.
Road accident injuries seem to be the most common of them all though. And it's not so difficult to guess why. Every year, the rate of road accident frequency grows. This is because our lives continually go faster and faster, and the cars do the same. Moreover, the number of cars continuously increases and it is not a luxury anymore, it is a necessity.
As a matter of fact, you are bound to go through at least one road accident in your lifetime. And although over a million persons die each year in traffic accidents worldwide, chances are that your accident will be minor in nature. And if you consider that you are not the person to blame for it, go ahead and claim compensation.
And the injury lawyer is going to help you all the way. If you want to take as much as you can out of your claim, a solicitor is a must, believe me. If you decide to leave the compensation claim in the hands of your insurance company, they will try to give you the smallest compensation possible for your particular case. So if you want to leave the frustration out, pick up the phone and dial an injury specialist's number.
You will be called to a preliminary interview. This is the moment when the respective lawyer will get a general idea about the case and he will approximately asses your chances of winning the claim. Also, if he thinks it's worth your while, he will give you an indication of the amount of compensation you can get for your particular case.
For the sake of argument, we will consider that you have a strong case. It's time for your lawyer to get to work. First of all, you will be appointed to a medical visit. This has to be done for two reasons: your health and a preliminary injury report. The medical visits will have to continue on a regular time basis, because there can be complications of your injuries in the future. If this is the case, the amount of compensation you are claiming for has to be adjusted accordingly.
In the meantime, your lawyer will try to pile up a mountain of evidence that is going to be the foundation of your case. It will be a pretty lengthy process, up to a few months, but you need to be patient. Evidence is used for proving your lack of guilt for the accident and for establishing the amount of compensation you are going to claim for.
As a side note, I should tell you that the personal injury lawyers work on a no win no fee commission basis. This is exactly as good as it sounds, meaning that you only have to pay your lawyer if he wins the case.
The no win no fee (or the conditional fee) agreement is relatively new, and it has made compensation claims more popular than before. You need to watch out for one thing though: if you win the case, you must pay the opponent's costs. However, you can take an "after the event" insurance in order to have that covered. It should all be explained by your lawyer nonetheless.
There are many more aspects to this which can't be covered in a simple article. What I do hope though is that you got the basic idea. It applies to all the types of accidents I told you about at the beginning. Remember, don't be afraid of a claim if you feel you are innocent. It's your own right and your own life. So, if you get involved in an accident that wasn't your fault, contact an injury lawyer.

Six Mistakes You Should Avoid After A Car Accident
by Arnold Hernandez
These are six mistakes commonly made by car accident victims:
Mistake 1. After an accident most people call the local police or highway patrol. Invariably you will be asked if you are injured. If it is not a severe injury you will likely say that you are not injured. If you say you are not injured, then there is a good chance no one will come to the accident scene.
When the highway patrol or police officer does come to the accident scene they will ask if you are injured. Once again if it is not a severe injury and the law enforcement officer gets to the accident scene quickly, you will more likely than not say no. The reason is that most car accident injuries are whiplash injuries, or soft tissue injuries which generally do not appear until sever hours after the fact.
The problem with this type of response is that you don't know. The best approach is to say that you do not know, but that you will go see your doctor. If you say no, the law enforcement officer will record your answer and insurance adjusters will use this against you, and if the case goes to trial the insurance company's attorney will use it against you as well.
The fact is that you don't know, because no medical professional has examined you and in the vast majority of soft tissue injury cases you will not know if you are injured until several hours later after the fact. Once you go home and relax you will start feeling pain and tightening of your neck and the following day you may extreme difficulty getting up because of the soreness and pain throughout your body. So, if you are involved in an accident and you are asked if you are injured the answer is you don't know, but you will go see a doctor to get checked out. Give yourself at least 24 hours to find out.
Mistake No. 2. Failure to mitigate your damages. What this means is that if you suffer an accident, you are not suppose to wait around and do nothing. If you suffer an accident and know you are injured or have reason to believe you are injured, go see a medical doctor right away. If you like chiropractors better than medical doctors, go see the medical doctor first, then see a chiropractor. The reason is that insurance companies use computer software to evaluate claims and failure to act on your injury and take precautions to minimize your pain will reduce the value of the case according to the computer software.
Another problem with failure to act quickly is that if you take too long and the case goes to trial, a jury may believe the injuries were caused by something else. If you take three months to undergo medical treatment, who is to know what caused the injuries you complained off. If you take three days to seek medical treatment, it is more likely than not reasonable. The same software also allocates great value if you first see a medical doctor instead of a chiropractor.
Failure to mitigate damages pertains to all your damages, which also includes damage to your property, and lost earnings. If your car is damaged and inoperable you need to move to a safe location, you cannot leave it abandoned where it may be towed and impounded. If you cannot return to your full duties at work or on a full time basis, you must look to returning as soon as possible or on a limited basis. You must also have a doctor's order stating you need to refrain from your work activities, and your doctor must specify the number of days you are required to take off.
Mistake No. 3. Trusting the insurance adjuster. Many insurance adjusters mislead accident victims into believing they are going to help. I have had clients come to me three months after the fact, stating they were waiting for the insurance company of the tortfeasor to send them to a doctor. It is not going to happen. Insurance adjusters have a job, their job is to fulfill their duties according the terms of on the insurance policy at absolute minimum cost. Insurance companies are in the business of making money. They are not charities, or good guys, or neighbors helping neighbors, they are concerned with one thing and one thing only -profits. If you suffered an injury call an attorney right away. Not every case merits representation, but speaking with an attorney is often the best thing you can do to help yourself.
Mistake No. 4. Not following your attorney's advise or your doctor's advise. Your attorney and your doctor have an interest in protecting you, that is their job. Remember, you pay them for their expertise, not every case is a million dollar case and not every ailment is related to the accident and not every ailment requires extensive treatment.
Mistake No. 5. Lying. Sometimes personal injury claimants think they can obtain a better result by lying. They exaggerate their injuries and their symptoms. What they donnot know is that personal injury attorneys and medical doctors know when the claimant is lying. Often an MRI is done to see if the alleged severe low back injury is real. The MRI is very expensive, but accurate which often results in a loss for the claimant, because the procedure was not necessary. Sometimes claimants claimed preexisting medical problems on the accident, but an examination of the medical history shows there is no new injury. More often than not lying backfires and it is discovered, which results in complete loss of credibility for the claimant.
Mistake No. 6. Permitting an insurance adjuster to take your declaration and record it. If an insurance adjuster calls you and asks to take your declaration, it is for the purpose of denying your claim. It is not for the purpose of helping you. They are hoping you make an error, sometimes they will call you within hours after the accident, because in a soft tissue injury they know you will not be hurting for several hours.
